The diagram shows the comparison about the birth rates between China and the USA from 1920 to 2000. Overall, as you can see that the highest number for birth in the USA is around 1950 to 1955 who reached 20 and the highest number of birth for China is in 1965 which got about 14.
At the starting point, China and the USA relatively get the same number of birth in 1950 which is approximately 10. After that the graph tends to be stable, until in 1935 the number of birth in the USA increased from 10 to 15 but right after that the number is sharply decreased becomes 5 and this number stay until 1945. Meanwhile then, the number of birth in the USA increased considerably to 20 in 1950. However, after 1950 the number of birth in the USA sharply decreased. Until in 2000, the USA only get about 2 for the birth rates.
Meanwhile, the lowest birth rates in China is in 1945 which is only got about 6 and the highest number is around 14 in 1955. Same as the USA, the number of birth in China also down but not significant. At the end of the data, in 2000 China got about 7 for the birth rates.
