The line graph illustrates, the amount of six kinds of energy by fuel which were consume over 50 years in US. Units are measured in quadrillion.
Overall, the most significant fuel was petrol and oil over the given period and least amount of energy consumption by hydro power.
In terms of nuclear, solar or wind, and hydro power was relatively stable with five quadrillion over ten years of period. Then there was slight increase with remained stable level in nuclear power over the whole years with above five quadrillion units. Similarly, hydro power and solar or wind power has slight fluctuation for the following the next 20 years reached five quadrillion and below five quadrillion respectively.
On the other hand, natural gas began at 20 quadrillion went small oscillation over the years surge up to near 25 quadrillion in 2000 and 2015 then stay steadily with just over 20 quadrillion. Likewise, coal started with above 15 quadrillion went up above 20 quadrillion and remained stable up to 2015 then there were dramatically peaked up to near 30 quadrillion by 2030. Furthermore, petrol and gas presented with 35 quadrillion which fluctuated next 15 years and speedily hike to 40 quadrillion on 2015 and relatively stabilize with such units for the next five years then quickly touch the highest point with over 45 quadrillion by 2050 .
