Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the number of diseases of diarrhea declined. Besides, they were at their highest in 1989 while the weakest cases could be observed at the end of the period.
In the first year, the number of illnesses started at around 100 cases before experiencing a plateau in the next three years after which gradually increase to around 200 in 1987. In 1988, the figure saw a significant decrease back to the first-year levels; there was a dramatical soar to its peak of more than four times those illnesses in 1989. After that, a trend continued year after year, going down was about 350 cases in 1991. Finally, there was a plunge at the remainder of the period as the diseases witnessed zero case of diarrhea in Mashhad.
