Overall the number of Vietnamese students studying in France and in the USA has increased It can be seen that Russia has decreased in the number of Vietnamese students enrolling. Also Vietnamese students who studied in the USA rose the most significantly
In the 2000, There were more Vietnamese students in France than in the USA and Russia with about 3,5 millions whereas the numbers of Vietnamese international students in France and Russia was about 3 and 1,5 millions. In the next 5 years, the number of Vietnamese students studying in Russia and France decreased significantly At the same time there was a slight increase in the number of Vietnamese learned in the USA
In 2006 the number of international students from Vietnam studying in the USA and France was the same at about 2,5 millions. While the figure for this in France was almost unchanged. Over the next 5 years, America witnessed a dramatic growth of in the international students from Vietnam and reached about 5 millions at the end of the period, whereas Vietnamese students in Russia during the same period stood at the lowest position . From 2006 to 2010 there was a stability in number of Vietnamese studying in France and ended with a sharp increase of about millions in 2010
