The graph below shows the average number of Vietnamese students studying in France,
Russia and America between 2000 and 2015.
The line grape illustrates figures for students from Vietnam who study abroad in three different countries from 2000 to 2015.
Overall, It í apparent that the number of students in the US and France increased over the period shown, whereas Russia's students declined slightly. It is also noticeable that American was the most popular student attraction for most of the period.
In 2000, around 3,5 million Vietnamese students studying in France, which was higher than the figure for Russia and America at about 3 million and 1,5 million respectively. Over the following 5 years, the number of those studying in bot France's school and Russia's school dropped by nearly 1 million. By contrast, the student who went to America's school had reached around 2 million people.
By 2015, The number of students from Vietnam went too the US increased sharply, at 5 million. The opposite was true for the number of students in France, drop and remain stable around 2 million from 2005 to 2010. At the same time, the figures for France's students hit the lowest point, witnessed a drop below 2 million. Nevertheless, it goes up to 2,5 million at the end of the period.
