The graph below shows the average number of Vietnamese students study in France, Russia and America between 2000 and 2015
The line graph illustrates how many Vietnamese students study in three countries, namely France, Russia and America over a period of 15 years starting in 2000.
Overall, the number of Vietnamese students study in France and America climbed considerably, the opposite was true for Russia. In 2000, America was the country seeing the smallest quantity of Vietnamese students but in 2015 America ranked first.
In the year 2000, there was an average of nearly 3 million Vietnamese people enrolling in Russia schools, in comparison with about 3.5 million and 1.5 million students studying in France and America respectively. Over the next 5 years, the number of Vietnamese people in America schools increased to over 2 million, while the figures for Russia and France schools fell by roughly 1 million per country.
From 2005 to 2015, America underwent an upward trend to 5 million Vietnamese learners, making it the country attracting the most Vietnamese students. The figure for France remained stable at around 2.5 million until 2010 when it began to rise exponentially to nearly 4.5 million in 2015. Meanwhile, Russia witnessed a slight decrease in Vietnamese learners, and hit the lowest point of nearly 2 million in 2010, before rising to about 2.5 million in 2015.
