The line graph provides information about the U.S energy consumption by fuel with history and projections between 1980 and 2030.

Overall, petrol & oil and coal are a slow increase in the USA, while Nuclear, Solar & Wind and Hydropower are similar changes.

As can be seen that, petrol and oil fluctuated between 1980 and 1995, while there was a sharp increase of about 43 quadrillion units in 2020. The consumption of natural gas decreased slightly in 1995 and there was a fluctuation from 1985 to 2013. Between 2013 and 2030, there remained steady at 24 quadrillion units. Coal was a slow rise from 1980 to 1990 then there was a significant climb up from 1990 to 2030.

The consumption of nuclear, Solar & Wind and Hydropower was a remain constant between 1980 and 1988. There was Solar & Wind rise minimally from 1990 to 2030. Hydropower was a remain constant at approximately 2 quadrillion units from 2010 to 2030. The consumption of nuclear energy rises slowly from 1990 to 2005, while there was a remain stable between 2005 to 2025 around 7 quadrillion units.
