The line graph illustrates the number of questions that the Tourist Information Office located in a city was asked by 3 main categories during a 6 month period in 2011.
Overall, it is clear that there was an upward trend in the figure of answering questions by telephone and in person while the opposite trend was true for answering by letter/email. Novelty, the number of enquiries received in person underwent the most dramatic change over the period shown.
Starting at 900 enquiries received in January, the number of answering by telephone fluctuated to 1000 enquiries in March and remained unchanged for next month. After that, this figure increased dramatically to 1600 enquiries in June. Similarly, beginning at the lowest point in the line chart at 400 enquiries, the number of direct questions rocketed and reached a peak at just under 2000 enquiries in June.
By contrast, this office received less enquiries via letter/email at 800 enquiries in the first year. The period between January and May witnessed a rapid decrease in this figure from 800 to 400 before remaining stable in June.
