From 1987 to 1992, while there was a slight decrease in the quantity of travelers to the coast, the opposite trend was for the lakes. From 1992 onwards, the coast witnessed a dramatic rise to about 75 thousand in 2007 and became the most favorite destination of the foreign visitors.
