The line graph gives information about how many tourists visited a particular Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
In general, total tourists rose considerably, and those staying on cruise ships increased in particular, overtaking those staying on the island itself, which underwent a more moderate increase.
The number of visitors staying on the island accounted for 0.75 million and stayed unchanged in 2011. It had a significant increase of 0.75 million tourists during the next three years, and stabilized in the following two years, at 1.5. After fluctuating, there was a slight rise in the number of visitors, at nearly 1.5 million. 0.25 million tourists who stayed on cruise ships were more in 2011 than in 2010, then it had a 0.25 million reduction in travelers numbers. During the next 5 years, cruise ship passengers rose steadily, surpassing the former figure midway through 2015 and reaching a peak in 2017 of 2 million.
Initially, it made up a total of 1 million tourists, and had a dramatic increase and peaked at 3.5 million passengers at the end of the period.
