The line graph illustrates the number of visitors coming to Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017 and the way these tourists stayed on cruise ships or on island.
Overall, the total number of tourists visiting this island increased significantly over the period of 8 years. Besides, the visitors preferred to stay on the Caribbean island rather than on cruise ships.
In terms of boat living option, the starting figure was quite low, approximately 0,25 million people in 2010. However, in the following years, the number of visitors who chose this kind of accommodation rose sharply from around 0,5 million in 2011 to over 2 million tourists in 2017.
The number of visitors increased steadily for island living option. 2013 was the first year when it reached the highest point during the 8-year period. Throughout the remainder of the period, there was a minor fluctuation in the visitors staying on the island, which fell to 1,2 million tourists in the year 2016.
