The graph below shows the population for India and China since the year 2000 and predicts population growth until 2050. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given line graph illustrates, population of India and China in the year of 2000 and expected growth level by the year of 2050. Source obtained from UN population division and units are measured in billions.

Overall, Indian population is predicted to increasing every year and reaching upto 1600 billions by 2050 from 1000 billion in 2000. Where as, China shows declining in the year after 2020 such as, they started over 1200 billion population in 2000 and reach in above 1400 billion and slight decrease year by year and ends with below 1400 billion in 2050.

Population in India on 2020 below the level of China that is about 1400 billion. After that a dramatic peak in the growth of people with 50 to 100 billion every ten years. About 2025, population in India climbed on 1400 billion later which is 200 billion of total population may increase in pictures.

Meanwhile, in China mere 200 billion of total population is grown over 50 yrs. After 2020 they controlled their growth only above 1400 billion after that there is a systematic reduction in population and they reached below 1400 billion by the end of given period.
