Essay topics:

The graph below shows the population for India and China since the year 2000 and predicts population growth until 2050. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The Line graph illustrates the population of India and china from 2000 and also predicts the growth until 2050.The total population is measured in billions.

Overall, it is very clear that India grows slowly but significantly it rises to peak, but India starts with a less population rate when compared to China. China’s trend is quite steady. It has a sight increment and then drops down to the starting rate.

In 2000, India begins its journey with 1,000 billion and takes up a surge gradually to place itself in the top with 1,600 billion. Interestingly, the count increase by 100 billion in a sequential manner. But the China’s trend starts with 1,200 which is 100 billion more than India at its initial stage. This had a rise by very little amount. China’s initial growth was larger than India but finally India moved to greater heights.

The china is tending to reach its maximum surge by 2025 then the graph is not seen to be in higher side till 2050.India and china will have the exact strength of the population by 2025. Till 2050 India will not show any signs for decline in the growth.
