The given graph represents the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country. Overall, it can be seen that the highest recycling rate was of paper and cardboard whereas the lowest was of plastics from the year 1982 to 2010.In the year 1982, 65% of paper and cardboard were recycled which reached to 70% in 1996 then reduced by 5% in 1990 which increased and reached the peak value of 80% in 1994. After that, slowly it decreased by 2%, 3%,4% and 5% in the year 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2010 respectively. Similarly, 50% of glass containers were recycled in 1982, declined by 5% and 10% in 1986 and 1990 respectively. Then, it gradually increased and reached to 60% in the year 2010. In 1986, only 5% aluminium cans were recycled but it sharply rose to 45% in the year 2010 which followed increasing trend At last, less percentage that is 2% plastics started to be recycled in 1990 which reached to 5% in 1994 and remained steady in the year 1998 and 2002 then slowly it was increased and reached to 10% in 2010.
