Overall, it can be seen that the highest percentage of the population was accessing news via television in all three years and the lowest was through newspapers in 2017. In 2013, 79% of the population watched television for the news, 41% from newspapers whereas the percentage of the population listening to the radio and watching through the internet was the same which was 31%. Similarly, the percentage of the population watching television was 68% in 2015 which was leading by 27% from those who accessed news from the internet. Only 22% of people got news through newspapers which was the least one in 2017, slightly greater was that of radio by 8% in the same year. It can be observed that 30% of the population accessed news through newspapers and radio in 2015 which was exactly the same percentage. In 2017, there was only a difference of 3% between the population receiving news through television and the internet in which percentage of the population who accessed news through the internet lagged to 68%.
In conclusion, few percentages of the population used newspapers and radio to access news.
