Looking in details for unemployment rates of France, it recorded at close to 6% in 2000. This unemployment rate declined slightly to reach at about 5% in 2005 before it reached at 7% until 2015.
In contrast, Spain had the lowest unemployment rates in 2000 of about 2.8%. However, this experienced a rapid incremental trend to reach at 4% in 2005 and 10% by 2010 before it recorded at its highest point of 13% in 2015.
From 2015 to 2020, the French unemployment rates remained constant at 7% whereas the unemployment rates for Spain are predicted to have some declines from 13% to 11%.
