The line graph demonstrates how many workers were unemployed in three regions include the United Kingdom, Europe and Japan between 1993 to 2007.
Overall, while the percentages in EU and the UK saw a downward trend in 2007; the figures for unemployment in Japan experienced an increase in the last 2007. The units in the essay are measured at percentages (%).
Regarding to the figures in the UK saw a significant drop from 1993 to 2007. It began with the highest point at just over 11 in 1997, falling to approximately 5 in 2005, before climbed up to 6 in 2007. The data for Europe started at the second point in 1993 with just under a one-tenth. It rose remarkably to almost 12 in 1997, before went down gradually to just under 8 in 2007. Though the unemployment in Europe saw a downward trend, it still stood at the highest point in 2007, became the most popular region which having a lot of unemployed workers.
Finally, the figures for Japan saw an increase in over 14 years. It stood at 2 in 1993, then a significant climb to approximately 6 in 2003, before reducing to 4 again in 2007.
