The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995 – 2002.

The graph gives information about how much telephone calls in 3 types of telephone calls in the United Kingdom.
In general, it can be clearly seen that mobile calls and the international and national calls experieneced an increase in almost 10 years. On the other hand, the local telephone had a fluctuate.
The minutes in mobile calls in 1995 was approximately 2 or 3 billions. It rose gradually from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, it two times higher than in 1996, which it was about 5 billions. Then it increased sharply in 2000 (above 20 billions) and it continued to rise remarkably in 2001. In 2001, it was about 40 billions minutes. In 2002, it reached nearly to 50 billions.
The national and international calls was in 40 billions minutes in 1995. Then there was a climb slightly in the next 4 years. It was about 40 billions in 1996 and 42 billions minutes in 1997. It was above 55 billions minutes in 2000, compared to 50 billions in 1998. In the end of 2002, it still went up gradually when it only reached to 60 billions.
About seventy billions minutes calls was a figure of local calls in 1995. It was saw a stead increase in 1999. It reached to the top of a peak in 1999, about 90 billions calls. After that, it witnessed a significant decrease in next 3 years. It was about 70 billions in 2002.
