The supplied bar chart shows the percentage of using Internet of Taiwanese following the difference in age periods from 1998 to 2000. In general, the ratio Internet usage, which was used by the 16-30 years and 31-50 years group was higher than 2 compared groups.
As can be seen in the graph, the percentage of using Internet of the age less than 15 and over 50 increased anually that went up dramatically in 1999 and then rose slightly in 2000. However, the people who used Internet in group 16-30 years and 31-50 years held high percentage in 1998, but fail down in the next 2 years.
Especially, in 1998, the numberous Taiwanese who was 16-30 years and spent a lot of time for Internet reach up to 53 percent, this is also the highest numer among other groups between 1998 and 2000. Whereas, in that year, group less than 15 just get 2 percent the number of people using Internet and lowest in 3 years. After 2 years, group age less than 15 and over 50 were improved about the ratio of Internet usage but they were still very difference to 2 groups left.
