Overall, the figure underwent fluctuations with downward trend. Over 18 years, it seems that the number of unfortunate incidences had declined significantly.
In the beginning of the period, there was a massive number of injuries, starting with 6.127 cases. However, after reached its peak at 6.632 cases in 1994, the figure gradually dropped and by the year 2002 this number has reduced about a thousand cases.
After 2002, the number of death cause by injuries at work surprisingly began to raised again. In order words, it slowly increased to 5.764 then 5.840 cases in 2004 and 2006 respectively. Although there was an increased in the past four years, the number of injured workers went down dramatically between 2006 and 2010 and ended up at 4.690 cases, about two thousand cases lower than its peak.
