The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The three bar graphs illustrate the number of British people in percentage who buys different types of music, Pop, Rock and Classical, according to their gender and age.
Males are more interested in Rock music than the other two types. About 31% men buys Rock music album and about 28% of them likes Pop music. Less than 10% of men enjoy Classical music. Similar trend is found in teenagers and young adults, ranging age between 16 to 24. The adults whose age ranges from 25 to 34 display an alike taste to the male population and teens. They buy 31% albums which are Pop in genre and 29% album which are of Rock genre. However, some of these young adults, about 15%, find interest in the Classical genre.
Women and people in their mid-life, ie, who are older than 35 years but younger than 44, also show akinness in their taste i music. 15-18% of the women listen and buy Pop music album or Rock music album respectively. Same can be said about the middle aged adults.
On the contrary to all these fashion, the older population, namely people who are older than 45 years, are less likely to buy any Rock or Pop album ( less than 10% in both cases). However, they are seem to be more interested in Classical music(20%).
