Essay topics:

The graphs show figures relating to hours worked and stress levels amongst professionals in eight groups.

The given charts give information about how many hours people have to work a week by different occupation groups and the stress levels of each group.

Overall, it can be seen that people who work as lecturers are required to work a smaller number of hours compared to other professions, while the opposite is true for business men. In addition, the ratio of lecturers who suffer from stress take up the largest part and programmers are less likely to endure this situation.

From the first chart, four groups of jobs including lecturers, chefs, lawyers and programmers work for merely 40 hours or less a week, and lecturers work the least of all (around 25 hours). However, the rest four groups work more than 40 hours every week and businessmen are the busiest people working up to 70 hours a week, almost triple compared to lecturers' working hours.

Looking at the pie chart, one in four people who are struggling with stress are lecturers, followed by movie producers, doctors, businessmen and chefs with 18%, 15%, 11% and 10%, respectively. Moreover, the figures for writers and lawyers are alike (8%), while the proportion of programmers being stressed is the least one, at only 5%.
