Illustrated in the flow chart are the processes of producing energy by the means of hydroelectric power.
Overall, it is clear that the method of generating electricity through hydropower plant involves a series of systematic steps that differs during the day and night.
Looking closely, the daylight process starts with the collection of flowing water coming from the river. This water is kept in a high-level reservoir. When the adequate water level is achieved opening of the dam follows, wherein water flows down leading to the rotating turbines. These turbines are responsible of generating electricity which runs through the electrical lines of the generator. These power lines are conneted to the national grid which are then distributed for consumption. Meanwhile, the water that pass through the turbines flow into the low-level reservoir, where it is later utilized for the night method.
In comparison to the evening process, which involves two distinct steps. To begin with the shutting of the dam located in the high-level reservoir. Afterwhich a reversible pattern follows, beginning from the low-level reservoir water are hastily pumped back up to the turbines then to the pipe line going back up to the high-level reservoir for later use.
