The given line diagram illustrates how many people had visited the island of Caribbean in between 2010 and 2017. Two dotted lines are indicating stay of visiting people either on cruise ships or on island. Solid line represents total number of visitors.
Firstly, in 2010 the number of visitors were less as compare to all the following years, as only 1 million people visited Caribbean Island in 2010. After that as the years passed by the numbers of people visiting island increased dramatically. Moreover, as per year 2017 the total number of visitors had risen to 3.5 million.
Secondly, up to year 2015, people were drawn towards staying on the island, as the number of people staying on cruise ships were relatively less. In year 2010 and 2012 only quarter million people were staying on cruise ships, whereas third quarter million people and 1.25 million people were staying on island in 2010 and 2012 respectively. When year 2016 had came situation had been changed, 1.5 and 2 million people were staying on cruise ships, however only 1.25 and 1.5 million people were staying on island in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
Overall, as time passed more and more people were visiting Caribbean Island and moreover, more people were staying on cruise ships.
