The line graph illustrates the amount of junk food consumed by teenagers in Australia over a 25-year period, from 1975.

Overall, the number of times the young ate fish and chips declined over the period, while pizza and hamburgers became more and more popular.

In 1975, the most popular fast food was chips and fish which was eaten 100 times per year, while pizza and hamburgers consumption were just under 20 times. However, from 1980 to 1985, the spending on fish and chips gradually declined. There were dramatical increases to over 80 and 25 in the figures for pizza and hamburgers respectively.

Between 1995 and 2000, the biggest rise was seen in hamburgers, just over 100 times. Pizza consumption also had a gradual rise at that time. In contrast, fish and chips consumption gain the lowest number, at only under 40 times a year.
