The line graph shows the information for internet users as percentage of population in three countries from 1999 and 2009.
The given line graph illustrates the rate of internet access in three different nations, namely the USA, Canada, Mexico during the period of 10 years, starting from 1999.
Overall, the proportion of the population who used the Internet increased in each country over the period shown. It is also notable that a much larger percentage of Canadians and Americans had access to the Internet in comparison with Mexicans, and Canada experienced the fastest growth in Internet usage.
In 1999, the proportion of people who had access to the internet in the USA was about 20%, which was two times higher than that of Canada. Whist the figure for Mexico in 1999 was the lowest with just about 5%. The ratio of people having an internet connection in both Canada and the USA America rose rapidly to around 70% in the next six years, while that of Mexico experienced a slight increase to roughly 25% in the same period.
Turning to the remaining years, the percentage of internet usage in Canada skyrocketed to nearly 100%, while the figure for the USA and Mexico climbed slowly to about 80% and 40% respectively in 2009.
