The line graph illustrates the number of car thefts in four countries namely Great Britain, Sweden, France and Canada from 1990 to 1999.
Overall, it is clearly that all countries, except Sweden, had a tendency to decrease in car theft problems during the examined years.
Of all countries, Great Britain had the highest theft numbers with about 18 per thoundsand vehicles in 1990. Then, this figure had a fluctuation and fell slightly to around 16 per thounsand in 1999. Sweden was by far the second highest country, starting at just under 10 per thoundsand in 1990, it had a rise of about 10 per thoundsand in 1999.
Meanwhile, France was the lowest country about car theft issuses with just over 5 per thounsands in the first examined year, before increasing to approximately 8 per thoundsand and reached the same point with Sweden in 1991. However, France tend to decline the number of car theft to about 6 per thounsand in 1999. In addition, Canada stayed unchange between 1990 and 1991, followed by a decrease and a recovery in the remaining years.
