The line graphs illustrate, the steel production and actual needs of steel in million tonnes over the 12 months period and the account for workers in steel manufacturing company in UK during the year of 2010. Units are measured in million tonnes and number of workers in thousands.
Overall, steel produced in UK was relatively higher than actual demand over the whole year except the month of December. Whereas, the data of workers was significantly declined by the end of the year.
UK steel production began at 4000 million in January, which reached to 5000 millions in February then there was a steady movement in production up to July. After that, growth declined to near 3000 in August which dramatically climbed to the 5000 millions before rapidly dipped into below 1000 by the end of year in 2010. While, demands of steel was started with 2000 million in the early month of 2010, which went up to 3000 million customers for steel in middle of March. Demand of steel considerably decrease to below 2000 million tonnes in the following months, then there was a fluctuation in marketing between 2000 and 3000 million by the start of October. Moreover, just like production,demands also sharply went down and stayed in zero level at the beginning of December, later, demands climbed up to starting count with 2000 million.
On the other hand, number of workers began at 5000 and slight increase over next months and which went down to 3000 employees in April. Then there was a stable in numbers with slight fluctuation in between months of April and August, while, there were sharp decline of numbers in steel companies to 1000 by December 2010 in UK.
