The first line graph demonstrates the amount of manufacture and the need for steel which is measured in million tones units and the second picture illustrates the numerical value of employees who worked in that industry in the UK in 2010.
Overall, what stands out from the first graph is that the amount of production was higher over the period than the actual consumption except the December, on the other hand, the number of workers decreased gradually.
In the early of the year, the companies produced 4000 million tones of steel, while the real utilization was half of the production. Then both started to increase in February the amount of manufacture reached its peak value which was 5000 million tones. The same trend was seen in demand, the highest need noticed in March the amount around 3000 million tones. Until August the production remained to level off, on the other hand, the fluctuation was observed in the case of need. After August the manufacture increased for a sudden time then it gradually went down. A significant change was noticed in demand just before December it came to zero then increased linearly.
In January 5000 employees worked in this sector then the number upgraded almost 500 then slipped off to 3000. For the next three months, the figure remained the same. Then up and down was seen until the August after that it climbed down to 1000 in December.
