The line graph shown in the figure compares number of male and female university graduates in Canada from 1992 to 2007. The x axis of the graph represents the year from 1992 to 2007 with the interval of one year, and y axis of the graph depicts number of graduate students .
The overall trend of the graph shows that their are more female graduates than male graduates in Canada.Right from the begining their is a significant difference between number of female and male graduates .In year 1992 their were around 100,000 female graduates where as only 70,000 male graduates. An increase in total number of grduates can be seeen till 1995 and after that a decrese in graduate students can be seen till year 1999. The curve of female and male graduating students remain almost study from 1996 to 2000 for female candidates with an avrage of 100,000 female graduate students and 70,000 students male graduate students per year.
A steep rise in the number of students graduting year can seen after year 2000. This number goes to as high as 150,000 for female graduates and silghtly below 100,000 for male graduates till 2006.
