The map below shows the development of the village of Ryemouth between 1995 and present

The two illustrations highlight changes of Ryemouth's village from 1995 to present.
In general, the village of Ryemouth has experienced modernisation with addition of fishing port in the sea. Moreover, the forest park has been removed from its territory.
In the north - western part, more houses have been situated near the road and shops which was placed near the sea has been replaced restaurant. Then, in the south-western side of the village, at the expense of the six fish market,then four apartments have been built next to the sea. After that, fishing port has been added in the sea.
Turning to the east, the golf area has been constructed with tennis court extensively in farmland's place and trees have been removed. Subsequently, hotel has remained unchanged. and also car park has stayed unchanged without anything nearby.
