The diagram demonstrates the development of Islip, a small land, in the future.
Looking at the picture, it is immediately obvious that this town will be undergone significant changes, especially constructing amenities and upgrating transport system.
To commence with, the main road will be converted into dual carriageway and be replaced by a space for pedestrians to enhance the public health. In addition, rural area to the north will be flattened to make way for infrastructures, comprising bus station, shopping centre and parking area, to meet the demands of dwellers.
In terms of accomodation, the plan will construct two new region to the north-east and the south-east of the map and two old ones will remain intact. While the shop to the north of the main road at present will be demolish by virtue of emerging shopping mall, there is no substitute for another shop to the south as well as a school and a park.
