The pictures illustrate Islip town centre today and the development plan of it.
it is clear that in the future, the place are going to be undergo a significant changes. there will be able to accept a big number of vehicles and bring many new experiences for people with its new services.
Specifically, a dual carriageway will be built.The pathway will cover whole the islip's center and smooth the traffic. it is easily to seen an increase of new housings which in the east conner of the carriageway and the other near the park. Because of the appearance of two new housing , the shops are going to be narrow to save place for the construction of car park and bus station.

In comparison with the now town centre, the main road will be disappear and might be only allow pedestrians. In contract, the school and housing near it still remain. In addition, they will small the park and the housing which locates in the south of the shops .
