The maps below show the layouts of the nature Museum between 2010 and 2013.
The given maps illustrate the significant changes in the Nature Museum between 2010 and 2013.
In general, it can be observed that the museum witnessed an expansion in a three-year time frame, with the garden being demolished to make space for new amenities.
Regarding the map in 2010, there were three main exhibition rooms and a lobby including a ticket desk in the museum. The dinosaur display room was located to the left of the lobby area, behind the ticket desk. Additionally, the Ocean Hall was easily found directly across from the main entrance. Meanwhile, the Mammal exhibition was situated on the left of the museum and next to the Ocean Hall.
By 2013, several new amenities were set up on the right side of the former building, which was formerly a garden. The natural surrounding was demolished to make space for a new display room for human origins, a shop, and a café. The Mammal display room was relocated and renovated into an open space in the new section of the building, so that a new exhibition area of Ice Age was opened up and fitted in with its blank space, along with containing a small insect display corner. Finally, the Ocean Hall was enlarged wider, whereas the ticket desk and the dinosaur display room remained unchanged over the years.
