These two maps illustrate the town of Stockford in two different years, respectly 1930 and 2010 and there are shown the various changes.
At first glance, it is clear that in the second map there are more houses and shops than in the first one and they are located from north to south, instead in the past they were only in the north. Another notable change is the primary school because in 2010 it has been extended, whereas the large house has been reduced and transformed in a retirement home.
Next, after 80 years, the farmlands that were in North West and South have been removed and now these places are empty in South, while in northwestern there are some houses.
In conclusion, the city of Stokeford in 2010 was more modern and developed than the past and it is evident because there are more houses, roads and buildings.
