the maps below show the village of Stokeford in 1930 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The featured maps illustrate the change that have taken place in the village of Srockford over eighty years beginning in 1930 and ending in 2010. Obviously, Most of the green lands disappeared and replaced by different constructions.

Let’s start with north-east side of the village. The great space of the farmland which located there has been used for building new houses, as well as adding extra two buildings to the primary school. New road was evolved just north to the school to connect the houses with the main road. In the middle of the map, we can find that new buildings were added to the large house and it is turned into a retirement home. Furthermore, the gardens which was located between the house and the main road were filled by houses.

The area in between the main road and river stroke experienced similar changes. New houses were built on the farmland in the south, also side square shaped road was extended serve such new buildings. However the post-office remained, the nearby shops were replaced by extra houses and an accessory road.
