The pictures compare the Islip town centre as it is at the moment and how it is forecasted to develop in the future
Overall, at present, this town centre is poorly erected with a few constructions, however, it is anticipated that they will add a new bus station, a shopping center, a car park, and a host of new houses to this site
Regarding this day, in terms of entertainment, there is nothing else except a western park and some shops that parallel to each other through the main road. The rest of the centre are some houses, a school on the southwest of the site and a rural area to the north. However, it is planned to transform this place into a completely new outlook.
Remarkably, the main road will be demolished to make way for a dual carriageway, which will surround the town with a circle shape. Furthermore, it is also forecasted with the appearances of a bus station, a shopping center, a car park and new houses on the north side, which merely adjacent to the pedestrians road. Although so many changes are anticipated occuring in the future, the school and the park will remain the same
