The map depicts how the village park has been modernized over the course of ten years.
Overall, the local park has witnessed significant changes, the most prominent of which is the downsizing of the football pitch as well as a range of new recreational and convenient equipment. It is also noticeable that most of the properties have not been relocated over the decade.
As per the maps, a cycle path has been constructed which wraps around the area. Within the town, there have been significant expansions to the car park and the tennis courts in opposition to the footballing area. To be more specific, the former can accommodate 30 more cars and the latter allow four groups of players to enjoy this recreational activity simultaneously instead of the initial two courts. In addition, aligned itself with the permanent children’s play area is another place dedicated to soft playing for kids. Several toilets have also been added adjacent to the aforementioned playground.
To the southeastern part of the village, the pond has been cleared and some woods have been removed to make way for the new boating lake and a café. Last but not least, in the southwest, a football-pitch-sized picnic area has been erected to serve the needs of the locals.
