nutritional status of emirati women by age group
Given the bar chart illustrating the alimentary ingredient of Emirati women in Al Ain city, each age group in four categories contained underweight, normal, overweight, and obese in the year.
As can be seen from the chart, the obesity of aged 30 and over was highest whereas the 20-29 age group had the most normal shape during this period.
Regarding the diet, over 48% of Emirati women aged 30 to 39 becoming obese in the year. Similarly, older females aged 40 or more also had obesity in the highest proportion at around 51%. Women in the city between the ages of 30 and 39 who were overweight had more than the other age group with roughly 40%. The percentage of underweight and normal stood at approximately 2% and well under 10% respectively. Most underweight females aged 40 or older gave information on the lowest proportion in Al Ain city, just nearly 1%.
However, Emirati women in the age range of 20 to 29 illustrated a different pattern during the given period. The respective percentage of normal and underweight was more than other age groups at almost 18% and roughly 32%. Both the overweight and obese groups had the same proportion at under 25%.
