The picture illustrate the process of hot balloon in the air; With the identification of all the equipment and how the wind is managed to uplift the balloon in the air and carry heavy weights.
Starting from the basket, right above the basket there is a burner installed tied with ropes that carries the basket and burner. The burner has a propane cylinder that mixes with the air to produce flame which generates the hot air and let the balloon fly as hot air is light and moves upward. The balloon shape equipment has many parts such as skirt which is the first portion tied with rope to burner and basket. Then the strings on the whole balloon that keep the balloon tied up and straight are called gores. The small rope tied horizontally around the balloon to keep it tight called panels. On the top of the balloon, there is parachute value that is a self- sealed flap that let the hot air avoid a controlled rate.
