As transparent from the maps, this city has become much more modern and dynamic.
One remarkable modification can be seen is the highways at the city centre was converted into the lane for only pedestrian can use. This adjustment is mainly due to the fact that citizen has been paying more attention about environment and they prefer to utilize public transport. Moreover, also for that reason, another station was constructed in the vacant land, which was opposite the old one. Another striking change is a bunch of trees in the northwest of the first map was cut down to make way for new apartment blocks. This variation is easily understandable because the population has been growing ceaselessly day by day and building a new flat like that is a feasible solution to this phenomenon. In 2010, the authority constructed a brand new shopping centre in order to supersede the old factory as a way to boost the income of Shipsmouth economy.
Additionally, it is noticeable that the lot near the shopping centre, which used to be unoccupied was made into a football stadium to satisfy the passion about sport of local inhabitants. Going further to the northeast of this region, the place used to locate a church was knocked down and turn into a pub. Moreover, the two private building witnessed the demolition to built skyscrapers as a result of urbanisation. In term of the treeline in the southeast, in 2010, an airport is under construction. This was a modification in order to advance the smoothly exchanges to other districts which is outside the Shipsmouth.
