The pie charts reveal factual data about the population in several regions around the world in two specific years: 1990 and 2000.
Overall, it is clear that the proportion of Asia’s population was the highest and other unnamed places accounted for just a small percentage in both pictures. In addition, the data for Middle East and North Africa has just appeared in 2000.
As can be seen from the charts, Asia has the highest number of inhabitants, which was 60%, followed by Europe(including Russia) at 25%, in 1990. Over the next ten years, the figure for Asia Pacific(including former Soviet Asia) and Europe(including Russia) both dropped to about 55% and 15%, respectively. In contrast, the population in Africa and Latin America nearly doubled over the next ten years, with the numbers climbing to 10% and 8%.
As the charts show, in 2000, a new data for Middle East and North Africa was revealed, which was 6%. Moreover, the number of population in North America and others country both witnessed a stability, which precisely lower than 6%, in 2000.
