The pie charts below show units of electricity production by fuel source Australia and France in 1980 and 2000.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, make comparisons where relevant.

The two pie charts below analyze figures of production of electricity, in Australia and France, in 1980 and 2000.
The pie chart on the left represents the year of 1980, while the one on the right is about 2000, both of them give numbers of units used in producing the electricity by fuel sources. The units are depicted in different scales, and with different colors.
After analyzing, it’s found that in 1980, the total production was 90 units. The highest portions went equally to both the coal and the natural gas, which means that it was highly depended on them for producing electricity. Meanwhile, the oil got the lowest category (only 5 %), but at the same time, using the nuclear power wasn’t that low, it was 20%, so it was ranked the third in the scales.
On the contrary, in 2000, the total production almost had been multiplied. The huge depend was on the nuclear power, it was nearly 70%. While the usage of natural gas and the hydro power was the same. However, the natural gas and the hydro power got tiny divisions, which means that they were the lowest in usage, or could even be neglected.
