On the other hand, aluminum cans and plastics had remarkable lower recycling rates, both of them were blow 5%. Nonetheless, both materials displayed an upward trajectory, with aluminum cans surpassing plastics by the end of the period.
From the graph we can see that overall, it is apparent that the percentage of four recycled materials raised over the period. Nevertheless, paper and cardboard were most recycled over the years compared to rest of the materials.
