The two given pie charts illustrate the revenue and spending percentages of a children’s charity in the United States in the year 2016.
Overall, it is apparent that the charity benefited most from food donation, and they spent a huge amount of money on program services. In addition, the money for the expenditures were generally lower than that of the revenue sources.
As for the first pie chat, donated food accounted for over two-thirds of the total revenue as the most primary source. The second largest proportion came from community contributions, with 10.4%. The other sources only took small percentages of the sources. Program povouo took approximately 2.2%, while investment income and government grants had the same proportions at 0.2%. Other income occupied the rest portion of the pie chart, at 0.4%.
Moving to the second pie chart, program services accounted the most substantial proportion which made up nearly the whole expenditures, with 95.8%. The other elements were insignificant, with fundraising at 2.6%, and management and general at 1.6% as the lowest percentage.
