Essay topics:

The pie charts show the electricity generated in Germany and France from all sources and renewables in the year 2009.

The bar chart illustrates information about the percentage of how many people live in the city from six continents across the world. From an overall perspective, the population in asia and africa is projected to have significant growth in the future.

Noticeably, in the period of 1950, asia and africa were considered as the regions that have the lowest number of residents in urban areas with merely 15-17 per cent while the population of city-people in north america gained the highest percentage at 64 per cent which was over 50 per cent of its citizens, following by oceania, europe and latin america/Caribbean. During 2007, the amount of dwellers living in the city in each continent had increased though the residents in asia's and africa's urban areas were still under half of their population compared to other four regions. The increase of people in the city of latin america rose by more than 30 per cent meanwhile oceania, north america, and europe had a range of urbanised dwellers between 9 and 12 per cent.

To estimate the growth of city-people in 2050, oceania is predicted to have a slight change in residents who live in the city at only 14 per cent increase. Even though most of population in north america, latin america, and europe will have become more urbanised in 2050, the rise in people in asia's and africa's urban areas shows considerable changes with approximately 47-49 per cent increase.
