The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Given are the two maps illustrating data on the discrepancies of Grange Park since its first appearance in 1920 and how it looks these days.
Overall, all changes were made to modernize the historical park. The central fountain had been removed to erect the rose garden with four seats around in the middle of the park. The stage for musicians was improved to a bigger amphitheater for concerts. All old seats around the park were demolished to make room for other new facilities.
On the northeast side of Grange Park, a cafe and a brand new children’s play area have been constructed on the ground of the old rose garden and pond for water plants. Glasshouse was also removed for the water feature today. A modern car park was built under the park with the entrance at the same place as the eastern seats before. The two old entrances have remained today.
