the plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year
The given maps illustrate the reconstruction of an airport now and the following year. Obviously, it is clear to see that the airport site will be expanded and added more amenities and facilities to meet the needs of customers.
While the current airport has solely one corridor which limits the number of eight gates, it will be reconstructed in Y-shape, in which the gates are going to be added up to 18 doors. One significant change in the planned corridor is that instead of the walkway, it is more convenient for customers to use the sky train.
Apart from expanding the airport, there are many amenities added as well. In the departure area, for example, a bag drop area will be created and take the place of the recent coffee shop. And in the same way, some shops are also being added before customers go out from the security section. Furthermore, the customer service will be operated more in the arrival field compared to a current empty area, such as cafe, ATM, car hiring service which are planning to take the right side of the airport site. Addinally, more doors will also be added to facilitate the movement of guests in both the departure and arrival sections.
