Road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010
The pictures describe the transformation to the entrance to a City Hospital during the period from 2007 to 2010.
Looking at the maps, it can be immediately seen that the area of City Hospital had undergone sinificant changes during the period. The most noticeable change that the road witnessed is the apperance of two roundabouts and the seperation of zone for car parking.
It's clear that while Ring Road and City Road remained unchanged in both shape and location, Hospital Road had been innovated with roundabouts placed in each end of the street to help traffic in the area safer. A newly-built bus station, which connected to two roundabouts by two novel roads, was erected in the West of Hospital Road to replace previous bus stops along that street.
Meanwhile, in 2007, the car park in the East of Hospital Road was available for both staff and resident. That was changed in next three years. While the whole area of old car parking was converted into staff car park only, another car park was contructed in the East of hospital for public demand.
