The table and charts illustrate information on the police budget in the particular year 2017 and 2018 in a region of Britain. To be specific, the table demonstrates the resources of the budget and the charts show how was the money used.

As can be seen from the table, the budget came from three resources including national government, local taxes and other sources such as grants. In addition, National Government was the main resource of the budget. Besides, the most percentage of the budget was spent on paying salaries for officer as well as staff while the rate in technology was the least figure in both 2017 and 2018.

To begin with, National government increased amount of money which was invested in police budget from 175.5m to 177.8m whereas amount of money was contributed by local taxes rose by approximately 10m over 1 year since 2017. Moreover, a budget from other sources remained stable after 1 year from 2017.

On the other hand, payment for officer and staff decreased by 6% in 2018 and hold the top position in the categories in both year 2017 and 2018. The amount of money which was used for technological improvement went up from 8% to 14% while investing in constructing buildings and transport keep unchanged with 17% in 2017 and 2018.
